I will survive

Surgery went well yesterday and I am feeling much better today. For those of you who didn't know, I had to have surgery on my left elbow. They had to go in and move my ulnar nerve to the topside of my arm because it was slipping out of the groove that it was supposed to be in and it would get caught on the bone and "pop" off. It was causing a lot of pain and numbness in my arm and hand. I get to go back in 2 weeks and have my right elbow done. I have to admit, I was really not looking forward to any of it, and I definitely am not enjoying this now, but I will be so happy when it is all done and I can go back to normal.

I think Steve is kind of getting annoyed with me because I keep trying to do things for myself and I probably shouldn't. It has been really nice though, my friends in the Relief Society have brought dinners over for us. Eveything is so yummy and it is such a blessing to not have to worry about dinner even though I made sure to stock up on frozen pizzas and "easy dinners" Have I ever told you that Chef Boyardee is my idol?! To tell the absolute truth, I have spent the last 2 days now on the couch doing pretty much NOTHING! It has been kinda nice.

WHAT! You nerd. Why didn't you tell anyone? I'm glad you at least let the R.S. know. And by the way what's wrong with you. Milk this baby as much as you can. Steve's willing and ready. Believe or not guys want to feel like they are taking care of you.Hope you're feeling better. We will be coming for spring break so rest your arm. We want to do some fun things while we are there.
