Good Times

We spent the day at the City Museum today with Sierra's Girl Scouts troop. They had a badge workshop (which included the face painting, Sierra was the only one that wore her paint all day, she was a tiger, not a Jack-O-Lantern) We had a great time...ok, the kids had a great time, I wanted to get into everything and play too, but I couldn't...that is a whole story in itself. So, we have decided that we will be going back after I am able to bend my knee again. We were all so worn out, we didn't even make it to the 4th level!

Ok, so the whole story on the knee thing. Sunday evening I was carrying cases of Girl Scout cookies out to my truck, and I tripped. Since I had my hands full, I couldn't catch myself. I landed on my knees, unfortunately, my right knee landed right on the edge of a brick. I spent the next few hours in the emergency room. They haven't ruled out a fracture, although if it is fractured, the x-ray didn't pick it up, but I am still having a lot of pain and most likely will have to go in for an MRI this week. I have been out of work all week and have had to wear an immobilizer. I spent most of the day today sitting and watching the kids have fun. Now, for anyone that knows me, you would know that had to be pure agony for me....and it was. I almost wish I hadn't gone, but if I hadn't, the boys wouldn't have been able to go, so I suffered through and it was nice to see the kids having such a good time.

Love the video. It has been a while since I checked your blog. I am behind in the times.
